Wellness Congress

Since 1993 the Wellness Congress has attracted public and private institutions, international organisations, universities, schools, doctors, scientists, philosophers, scholars, men of culture, of sports and of communication, in order to share with them the extraordinary social opportunity represented by Wellness.

Throughout its history, the Wellness Congress has anticipated and analysed the most important changes in people's lifestyles and offered the most innovative solutions to increasingly complex scenarios, starting from the way fitness evolved into wellness in the early 1990s, to the digital transformation linked to people's physical exercising at the beginning of the new century, and to drafting the New Health, Wellness and Optimal Living Economy Manifesto.

Dozens of speakers from a multitude of nations and cultures have taken the Wellness Congress stage to help promote a healthier and more sustainable human growth and development: U.S. President Bill Clinton, the World Food Programme Executive Director Ertharin Cousin, the Italian Minister of Health Beatrice Lorenzin, the Rector of the University of Bologna Francesco Ubertini, economist Enrico Giovannini, President of the Italian Olympic Committee Giovanni Malagò, NBA champ Marco Belinelli, architect Antonio Citterio and many others.

Since the first time it was organised, back in 1993, the Wellness Congress has always been an international event, held in various countries where it was often named a Wellness Convention. Every ten years the Wellness Congress has returned to Italy with a larger global format.

Since 2012 the Wellness Congress headquarters is located in the Cesena Technogym Village, the first wellness campus in the world, designed and built with the intent of focusing on employees' quality of life and health.
